Good to know about the Great Whites, although they'll have to just about climb up on the beach to get me.

Will peek over on your blog!MarcLordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17036432624426967890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32850048.post-15772755511338246772007-09-16T14:39:00.000-07:002007-09-16T14:39:00.000-07:00Hi - we met you at Mona's one evening this summer....Hi - we met you at Mona's one evening this summer. Oh, we have long loved the Oregon coast, and took our son down there for spring vacations from age 4 to about 14 or 15. So many wonderful hours spent walking the beach, looking for agates, building driftwood structures...then we went down for several years, just the two of us.
However, there ARE great whites in the water. A surfer or two have been hit off a beach just south of Cannon Beach, at Oswald West State Park. The great whites have even made it as far north as Port Angeles, WA.
But it's too danged cold for US to be out there with them!
Nice photos.isabelitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04175928587455507236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32850048.post-78466306075493047512007-09-14T10:19:00.000-07:002007-09-14T10:19:00.000-07:00Hi, Me:I didn't realize quite how prosperous Canno...Hi, Me:

I didn't realize quite how prosperous Cannon Beach is. Maybe the moat and drawbridge at the town's entrance should've tipped me off? Too bad. We were hoping to get a nice little 1,200 sq. ft. cottage there for only $900k.

See you amongst the cat fur. ;-)MarcLordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17036432624426967890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32850048.post-23062505445346717052007-09-14T08:28:00.000-07:002007-09-14T08:28:00.000-07:00My, My what a coincidence. I remember those cottages selling in the $50,000 range when I was a teen ager. A 900 square foot sold this summer up there for a mere $1.3 million. Yes, trendy I guess is the word for it. Glad you're back. And glad you had a good time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
